The story so far….
As a child I was given a subscription to National Geographic which was my early inspiration for the idea that a story could be told through a photograph. Even now I am continually amazed at the beauty and detail portrayed through images of the world’s diverse inhabitants.
I became convinced that this was a topic I would explore more and through my combined love of photography and travel I have been fortunate enough to have been engaged for assignments across the world. In 2006 I was offered my first international assignment when I was commissioned by World Vision to document their development programs in Mongolia. This initial trip to a third world country changed my life on many levels, I not only came to appreciate how fortunate my way of life was, but the journey matured me as a photographer.
Since then I have continued to travel this amazing planet, and have been lucky enough to have been able to professionally photograph in 6 of the 7 continents of the world. Part of the joy of these assignments is the honour of being offered access to the homes, villages and lives of people and to be accepted into their way of life and granted permission to create these images.
This website is not only an image gallery but an extension of my soul and the soul of my subjects, who have been kind enough to let me capture their likeness, beauty and persona. I hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I enjoyed the opportunity to travel and document each story.
